As May rolled in, WeShape, continued to foster a vibrant and inclusive culture that celebrated both professional growth and personal well-being. Let's dive into the highlights of the past month!

Kicking off the month on May 4th, WeShape hosted the 13th gathering of London tech leaders.The gathering served as a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and fostering collaborative relationships within the industry. It was an opportunity for WeShape employees to engage with industry experts and gain valuable insights into the latest trends and innovations.

 On May 10th, WeShape turned up the heat with our London DevOps event. This shindig was all about bringing together DevOps enthusiasts to swap success stories, brainstorm solutions, and tackle those tricky software development challenges. WeShape knows that collaboration is key, and this event was all about fostering a community that thrives on sharing knowledge and pushing the boundaries of innovation.

Speaking of innovation, some of our team enjoyed a night at the AWS Cloud Cup! This was the perfect opportunity to get in front of some of the senior leaders at AWS. Congrats WeShape takes pride in staying ahead of the game, and our team's participation in events like this shows just how committed we are to being at the forefront of the tech game.

WeShape believes that employee well-being is crucial, and in line with this philosophy, the company observed Mental Health Awareness Week. Various initiatives were organised throughout the week to promote mental health awareness, self-care, and destigmatisation of mental health issues. The company actively encouraged open conversations and provided resources to support the well-being of the team. We’d like to give a big shoutout to Charlotte for her outstanding contribution as a Newly awarded Mental Health First Aider. She's been a great help for our team, lending a caring ear and offering support whenever it's needed. We're lucky to have someone like Charlotte who goes above and beyond to create a safe and nurturing environment for all.

Jack Leon, our agile coach, brought some serious energy to the sales team with a training session on agile ways of working. Jack equipped the team with the skills and mindset needed to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing business landscape. This initiative demonstrated WeShape's commitment to empowering its employees with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.

Birthdays are always a reason to celebrate, and May was no exception. We’d like to say a massive happy birthday to Dan Stapley for all of us at WeShape on his special day.

Last but not least, we’d like to give a big shoutout to Steve Moore, who celebrated his one-year anniversary with WeShape. Time flies when you're having fun, right? Steve's dedication and hard work have been invaluable to our company's growth, and we're excited to see what the future holds for him.
