There is often the opportunity to get involved in projects from the very start, helping to scope and shape customer requirements alongside the WeShape team in a collaborative way. We are also involved with some of the biggest tech events around, including London DevOps (8,000 members) and London Tech Leaders.
We encourage communication between consultants and the WeShape internal team via our Slack and other channels, making the team available to support on a range of back-office issues such as timesheets and payments, as well as regular catch-up calls to make sure we're able to support anything you need. We don’t just leave our associates to it: we make sure we’re actively involved to support with any issues or feedback on deployments.
At WeShape we actively encourage a close community, all the way from the internal team through to associates. That means regular contact, as well as hosting socials over the course of the year so that our associates can meet up and socialise outside of work. We regularly host events that any of our current, previous or potential associates can contribute to and speak at - if being a speaker isn’t for you, we make sure any consultants have a hand in proposing or voting for relevant and interesting topics for us to focus our events on.
Outside of the day-to-day, there is plenty of advisory work available as we look to bring in new customers, adding value outside of project delivery. WeShape is growing month-on-month, so the chance to provide expertise in this way is never in short supply. At WeShape we are big on fairly rewarding anyone that contributes – we have a profit share and bonus scheme in place for associates who help to win/scope potential new projects, or even just referring colleagues/friends for deployment on WeShape projects.
We always look to match interesting projects to the right people. Being specialists in the DevOps space means we can properly understand upcoming projects and requirements so we can find the best assignment for you. Our talent acquisition team will be in touch to understand what you really want from your next role – so that we only approach you with work that will be truly interesting for you. Being on the WeShape bench means we can offer you multiple opportunities or projects to work on – there is a wide diversity of work within DevOps, and you can use WeShape’s brand and customer buy-in to join projects with new and emerging technologies to expand your own technical scope and knowledge in different environments.
