Welcome to (a slightly delayed!) Work at WeShape for May. See below what we got up to last month.
We are delighted to announce that we have yet another member on our team here at WeShape- welcome Steve Moore! Steve has started working with us on a part time basis, and is supporting William Eustace (senior sales lead) with the WeShape Tech Academy. We’re all very happy to have you on the team- and love your trainer collection!
Next, a huge congratulations to Lana, Alex and Vic who smashed their quarterly incentive out the park, and enjoyed a well deserved day out. Accompanied by Chris, the three of them went out to race round the go kart tracks in Docklands which was followed by tapas and bottomless drinks at Salvador and Amanda. Well deserved!
In May, WeShape also created WFL- WeShape future leaders, a brand new concept here which focuses on leadership training and management skills. Will, Alex and Vic are all partaking in this course, which comprises ten different modules, such as Budgeting and Incentives, Interviewing and Hiring Processes, and Self development for Managers. Its ultimate goal being to create enthusiastic and understanding future leaders within the business.
Towards the end of the month, WeShape organised London DevOps. Hosted by AWS at their headquarters in Liverpool Street- this event saw over 150 fellow minded individuals come together to discuss all things DevOps, including Discovery, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
The objectives of the group were to:
1. Make it a platform to be able to learn about new products
2. Help and foster the DevOps Community in London
3. Explore and have fun!
