Welcome to another Work at WeShape. April was a very successful month for us, with promotions, job offers and more charity work all taking place. Additionally, we hosted our associate drinks at our rooftop bar- it’s always great to see our consultants and for them to all meet one another, especially now that life seems to have returned to normality again!
As mentioned, we had our Associate Drinks earlier in April, where we were joined by a few of our excellent consultants here at WeShape. We enjoyed a lovely evening at our rooftop bar- socialising and getting to know some of our consultants in person and also giving them the opportunity to meet one another. We’re all looking forward to our next Associate drinks which will take place in July- hopefully it’ll be in the sunshine!
WeShape would like to give a huge congratulations to Alex Melville, who was recently promoted from Marketing Lead to Marketing Team Lead. Alex has worked extremely hard since joining, taking complete ownership of everything marketing! Some of his most notable achievements include, successfully running three London Tech Leaders Events, managing our new website launch, and putting forward our application for the Devops Excellence Awards, (which we won!). From all of us at WeShape- well done and thank you so much for all your hard work.
Speaking of marketing… Karolina Ugrenyuk has secured a full time position as Marketing Assistant! Initially interning with us, Karolina has been working towards some very exciting projects, submitting an application for yet another award. Fingers crossed! Welcome to the team Karolina, we’re very excited to be working with you.
In partnership with Le Wagon London we have also launched our WeShape Tech Academy and have welcomed our first student Craig Norford to join the team. This project has been largely managed by Will Eustace - excellent work Will!
April also saw Vic Williams, our Talent Acquisition Team Lead work alongside ELBA to conduct mock interviews with year 10 students who were preparing to begin work experience. Vic stated that ‘most of the students had no experience of interviewing so it was a good chance for them to practice and to get feedback on how to improve- it was a very rewarding experience. I hope the students really learnt from it’.
