Providing advisory and training to IG Group

About IG

IndexIG is the world-leading provider of contracts for difference (CFDs) and financial spread betting, and the UK's largest forex provider. IG is an organisation of positive problem-solvers, united and inspired by their purpose, which is to power the pursuit of financial freedom for the ambitious.

What we did for IG Index

WeShape advised IG Index with their change and policy processes, providing incremental training to the internal team across both London and Krakow locations. WeShape also implemented a number of the recommended approaches from the Change and policy review process. WeShape also focused on advising IG on their Service Management organisational structure and helped with the implementation phase.

When we engaged WeShape we did not have any Front End and UX expertise in-house. Also our requirements were very fluid and driven by end user needs. For me it was very important to pick a partner who could deliver at the speed we needed, the agility that our customers dictated, and the engineering quality that our brand represented. I’m impressed with WeShape to deliver on all the three areas by deploying a competent team on our project.

A leading technology company in the online betting space engaged WeShape to carry out a migration of their on-premise solution. WeShape successfully carried out the migration to address issues with their existing environment and enabled in-house operators to more effectively manage and debug applications.

WeShape delivered the ephemeral environments with success, which allowed several copies of the production environment to be provisioned independently to be used to test new features and fix bugs. By partnering closely with our client’s internal teams, we also helped upskill their task force to ensure they can make use of these environments and carry on day-to-day administration and housekeeping after our engagement.
